    Junkyard Simulator Patch 2.1

    Junkyard Simulator conversion to the Unreal Engine 5 is complete and available now to download.
    The new engine affects the speed of launching the game, object loading time, quality of rendering the textures, object physics, etc. v2.1 reduced nearly all random crashes and bugs.

    Also, based on your feedback, the gameplay has undergone fundamental changes during the past months. We improved things like the driving experience, map, and game navigation. We rebuilt mechanics from the game to take advantage of Unreal Engine 5. You will also notice a new weather system and a new particle system.

    We finished converting the game to Unreal Engine 5. You can expect new content in the game within the coming updates.

    Junkyard v.2.1 (RC) x UE 5

    Hear, hear, People of the Junkyard!
    We’re just at the finish line with Official Patch v2.1, so we decided to give you today a Release Candidate of what’s is coming! Check now BRANCH public_test!

    The fundamental changes are associated with upgrading the game engine to Unreal Engine 5. The new engine affects the speed of launching the game, object loading time, quality of rendering the textures, object physics, etc. v2.1 reduced nearly all random crashes and bugs.


    Also, based on your feedback, the gameplay has undergone fundamental changes during the past months. We improved such things as the minimap, navigation, markers, driving experience, and more.

    Now we need your help. Let us know how the new version of Junkyard performs on your computer.

    We got many questions from you about the coming changes in the Junkyard Simulator. Let’s check what’s going on in the Rebelia Games!

    There will be added expanded mechanics of renovation, extension, maintenance, and managing of your own piece of junkyard world. You can buy a parcel, which, transformed from ruins into a junk empire, will give you an opportunity to earn even more money.


    The second thing is we’re upgrading Junkyard Simulator to the Unreal Engine 5. It’s a massive challenge for our team, but we believe it will give you an opportunity to invest your money wisely.

    Patch 1.2 for the Junkyard is out!

    Official Patch 1.2 for the Junkyard Simulator is now available!

    Patch 1.2 includes new game mechanics:
    – Metal smelting station
    – Furnace, molds, pallet, and scrap hopper
    – Metal grinding station
    – Junkman’s Hammer is now available at the upgrade station

    You can obtain metal fragments by using your hammer. The obtained metals can be ground and smelted with your new toys. And finally, you’ll be able to use obtained resources that way to build a junkyard in the next updates.

    – You can modify the key settings. Go to: Options > Keyboard
    – Reported bugs are fixed

    Patch 1.1 is now available!

    We’re publishing Official Patch 1.1 for the Junkyard Simulator.

    Patch 1.1 includes the following fixes:
    – Crashes related to new generation INTEL processors are GONE
    – We got rid of all known ‘edge case’ crashes
    – The game optimization is improved
    – With the new patch, the game shouldn’t take so much space on your disks
    – We improved graphics and texture reading
    – With the visual fixes, the game should finally feel smooth
    – Image should be much sharper now
    – Many other aspects related to the visual side of the game have been improved – come and see!

    We know that you’ve waited quite a bit for this update. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Patch 1.1 consumed A LOT of work and time, but it laid proper foundations for future improvements and new updates will be released more frequently.

    Last but not least – we know that you must be curious what’s brewing next, so here’s a little teaser: the next update will include an option to modify key settings (yes, finally!) and also some NEW mechanics. What mechanics are those? For now, we are not revealing the secret, but keep your eyes open, perhaps we’ll drop some info in some time.
